Navarathri – An Important Festival in Hindu Era
The Hindu epic has countless stories
behind every festival that renders lots of rites and rituals. Navarathri is one
of the important festivals in Hindu culture.
Navarathri - a salvation from the
grievances and suffering of lot of sages in Earth. As per Hindu Purana
countless sages admired for their performances of tapas, dhyanas and poojas. Subsequently
there were lots of evil creatures who use to interrupt this performance time by
time by torturing in various ways and punishing inhumanly.
Goddess Durga gives salvation for
all those who suffer from disease, distress, difficulties, dipressions, and
deficiency in health, mental illness.
The Hindus perform Durga Pooja nine
days chanting mantras, japams, songs and telling stories of durga maata to
people who participate in pooja every day. Goddess also garlanded decorated
with beautiful jewels, dress and flowers.
Lots of idols are place and
decorated with respect to status of life style and exhibited to the devotees
more enthusiastically.
